Battle paintings.

    Thanks for the boots in battle paintings. Love to see cavalry troopers fighting in tall boots. Especially love to see scenes after the battle when the victors are stripping all the tall boots and fancy uniforms off the defeated soldiers. In that last painting, you can see where someone has already stripped the boots off a dead officer lying on the ground barefoot. Some other soldier is now wearing those boots.
